    SESQUI will be spending the height of summer with its travelling cinematic dome tour in Thunder Bay. SESQUI’s 360° dome will be located on the grounds of the Intercity Shopping Centre in the heart of the city.

    SESQUI’s HORIZON 360° film will be projected in 9K resolution. The film is approximately 22 minutes in length, and will be screened every half hour in our custom-built SESQUI dome.

    All admission is free and lineups are first come, first serve.

    • Monday, July 24th – 12pm-10pm*

    • Tuesday, July 25th – 12pm-10pm*

    • Wednesday, July 26th – 12pm-10pm*

    • Thursday, July 27th – 12pm-10pm*

    • Friday, July 28th – 10am-7:30pm*

    *School groups 12pm-2pm (weekdays only).

    We expect Thursday and Friday to be the busiest. Please plan your visit accordingly.

  • Getting There

    1000 Fort William Road

      Bike:

    Thunder Bay is a bike-friendly town with a variety of bike lanes to the north and south of the shopping centre and multi-use trails to the east and west.

        Drive:

    From the west, take Harbour Expressway to Fort William Road.

    From the east, take Main Street to Fort William Road.

    From the north. take Memorial Avenue, Balmoral Street or Trans Canada W/ON-11 W/ON-17 W.

    From the south, take Simpson Street or May Street, turning into Fort William Road.

    Parking can be found within the Intercity Shopping Centre parking lot at most times.

        Public Transit:

    A variety of bus routes run past the Intercity Shopping Centre. To plan your route, click here.

  • Being There

    Accessibility

    The SESQUI tour site is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair seating can be accommodated in our dome theatre. A service animal may accompany a visitor or any third party with a disability to our exhibition area and theatre.

    Food & Drink

    Food and drink will not be allowed in the dome exhibition area. SESQUI will be working with local-area and shopping mall restaurants, bars and food trucks to provide access and offers to a variety of food and dining options near the theatre exhibition.

    Activations

    SESQUI will be hosting activities, giveaways, education, entertainment and photo opportunities around its venue with other SESQUI, Canada 150, Ontario 150 and Thunder Bay community partners inside and outside our exhibition area.
