SESQUI 2017 Fall 2017 Schedule of Events

Here below is our roster of continuing events as we head into the tail end of Canada 150:
FIXED DOME
Screening runs will continue at many planetariums until the end of the year:
  • Telus Spark, Calgary – on-going to December — check their website for details
  • Telus World of Science, Edmonton — Until Sept. 4, TBC for the Fall — check their website for updates
  • Manitoba Museum, Winnipeg — late night screenings for Nuit Blanche on September 30th, plus other screenings TBC to December
  • Science North, Sudbury  – On-going to end of November – check their site for updates
  • Discovery Centre, Halifax — on-going to the end of the year – check their website for updates
  • The Science and Tech Museum, Ottawa – December 7-18, 2017.
  • Canada’s History Museum, Gatineau – until September 4th, TBC for the Fall’17
SESQUIDOME & TRAVELING INFLATABLE** 
  • We are working with a number of inflatable domes and organizations to look into making SESQUI a truly live and online national project by visiting PEI, Northwest Territories and the Yukon as well as other first-time screenings of SESQUI.
VIRTUAL REALITY EVENTS
  • Until September 4 – Canadian National Exhibition, Toronto, ON
  • September 15 – Fort York, Toronto, ON
  • September 16 – Brock University, Ste. Catharines, ON
  • September 23 – Taste of the Hill, Richmond Hill, ON
  • September 27 – October 22 – Art Gallery of Hamilton, Hamilton, ON
  • September 21-24 – Ottawa Animation Fest, Ottawa, ON
  • Late September – Pikangikum, Ontario
VR HEADSET & EDUCATION GUIDE DISTRIBUTION
  • Late September/Early October’17 – With our education partner HISTORICA, we will be distributing 400,000 branded Google cardboards to Canadian elementary school classrooms in the Fall’17.
GLOBAL SCREENINGS
  • Until September 4 –  Plaza de Republica, Mexico City
  • International Missions at Canadian consulates and embassies sin partnership with  Global Affairs : Kiev, Ukraine, Canberra & Sydney, Australia, Miami, USA  Kingston, Jamaica, Warsaw, Poland and others.
