SESQUI will be spending an extended Civic Holiday weekend with its travelling cinematic dome tour in Richmond Hill. SESQUI’s 360° dome will be located on the grounds of the Richmond Green Sports Centre & Park.

SESQUI’s HORIZON 360° film will be projected in 9K resolution. The film is approximately 22 minutes in length, and will be screened every half hour in our custom-built SESQUI dome.

All admission is free and lineups are first come, first serve.

“Richmond Hill is honoured to be selected as only one of seven locations in Ontario for the unique SESQUI dome tour. We invite everyone from the GTA and beyond to come and watch this special 360 degree film and see Canada in a way you’ve never seen it before. We also welcome you to stay and visit our award winning parks and trails and experience the heritage and culture of Richmond Hill.” – Dave Barrow, Mayor of Richmond Hill

    Territorial Acknowledgment

SESQUI would like to acknowledge that the land on which we will gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, the Métis, and most recently, the territory of the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. This territory is also covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. Today, the meeting place of Toronto (from the Haudenosaunee word Tkaronto) is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to present our work in this territory.
