Shoot Your Own Canada 150 Film Teacher Support

“Being a dancer for so many years – that’s who our identity is, that’s how we show our pride. And I think [HORIZON is] a really important project to show the First Nations across Canada what we do and to share with everybody in Canada.”

– Cynthia Samuels

Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation is an exciting opportunity to look to the future of Canada. What might Canada’s 300th anniversary of Confederation look like in 2167? How will our actions today impact our communities in the future? The film HORIZON is intended to celebrate Canadians and start a conversation about what Canada will become in the future. This teacher support provides an opportunity for students to explore ideas about Canada’s future.
