SESQUI Teams Up with Notable Canadians to Launch GUESS THAT SESQUATCH Contest

Toronto, April 13 – SESQUI introduces a new contest as part of Canada 150 celebrations, GUESS THAT SESQUATCH. The contest invites audiences to identify the notable Canadians behind a series of personalized SESQUATCH for a chance to win exclusive prizes.

SESQUI’s official mascot celebrates diversity by allowing Canadians to co-create SESQUATCH reflecting their personal identities. The SESQUATCH featured in the contest are personalized by notable Canadian musicians, athletes, activists, and television personalities. SESQUATCH will visually reflect individual ideas of home and identity, giving audiences clues to help guess the notable Canadians behind SESQUATCH and win prizes. The first prize pack includes exclusive SESQUI merchandise and a Samsung Gear VR.

“We are excited to engage Canadians with our new contest, GUESS THAT SESQUATCH,” said Andrea Stewart, SESQUI Executive Producer. “This is an opportunity for Canadians to take part in an initiative that furthers conversations about identity, creativity, and diversity. Much like the search for the Sasquatch, GUESS THAT SESQUATCH is a distinctly Canadian mystery inviting all Canadian to join the fun.”

Every two weeks, the identity behind the celebrity SESQUATCH will be revealed on SESQUI.ca and social media, and a new celebrity SESQUATCH will be introduced.
